How this age calculator works (quick guide)

• Enter Date of Birth (time is optional).
• Age at Date/Time is optional—use it to find age on a past or future date; if you leave it blank, we use today.
• Click Calculate to see your exact age in years, months, days, plus total months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds.

What we do behind the scenes

• We subtract your birth date/time from the selected “age-at” date/time.
• If the current day is earlier than your birth day in that month, we borrow days from the previous month (which automatically handles months with 28/29/30/31 days and leap years).
• If needed, we also borrow months from years—so you get a clean, human-readable result like “30 years, 0 months, 19 days”.
• Times (HH:MM) are included if you enter them, giving hour- and minute-level precision.

Examples

DOB: 15 Aug 1995, 10:30 → Age on: 03 Sep 2025, 12:00
Result: 30 years, 0 months, 19 days, 1 hour, 30 minutes, plus totals (days, hours, minutes, seconds).

DOB: 29 Feb 2000 → Age on: 01 Mar 2021
Result: 21 years, 0 months, 0 days (leap-day birthdays are handled correctly).
